Ballynahinch's P7 squad had an absolutely brilliant time on their Mini Rugby Tour to Wales at the end of March.
Travelling with teammates and families, the excitement kicked off as soon as they left the club, heading across the Irish Sea by ferry. The journey even included a surprise highlight when they bumped into Andy Farrell, who happily stopped for photos and autographs—definitely one for the scrapbook!
On Saturday, the team received a fantastic welcome from Llangefni Rugby Club, helping everyone settle in and setting the tone for a great weekend.
Sunday brought the North Wales Rugby Festival, where the boys showed real grit and determination. Facing tough opposition and some wild weather—rain and even hail—they got stuck in and played with huge pride in the Hinch jersey.
Off the pitch, the tour was just as special, with plenty of laughs and a great sense of togetherness among players and parents alike.
All in all, a class trip full of great rugby, big smiles, and memories that will last a lifetime.
