Showing Ballynahinch's strength in depth the seconds worked hard to deliver a powerful victory against Cooke in the first round of the Junior Cup, scoring seven tries to progress to the next round. Up against a heavy weight pack the scrum held their own and allowed the teams greater pace and precision in the backs and the loose to deliver entertaining rugby from start to finish.
